Upper Peninsula Community Health Needs Assessments
CUPPAD received funding from the Superior Health Foundation and the Upper Peninsula Healthcare Roundtable to determine common community healthcare needs, issues, and themes of concern across the U.P. through a comprehensive, review, analysis, report, and recommendations to:
- Determine commonalities in U.P. Community Health Needs Assessments, which 501(c)(3) hospitals were required to complete as part of the Affordable Care Act
- Explore new and more efficient, collaborative service delivery options for addressing gaps
- Exploring mobile education options for areas where certain diseases or conditions are prevalent
- Offer enhanced tools to residents, such as resource guides, lodging and transportation options
